Rain above 2.5 mm/day loses 5 points per mm, up to 45. Above 22 °C with humidity over 70%, a further 0.8 points per % of humidity. “All year” averages the 12 months.

Measured at the capital; for large countries such as the US, Russia, Australia or China the capital does not represent the whole country.

Food and beach-island leisure are not yet measured, so places like the Maldives score low.

International direct routes from 11 Vietnamese airports, counted per airport pair. Year-round routes count 1, seasonal or charter routes 0.5. Score = 35 + 65 × ln(1 + weighted routes) ÷ ln 31: one year-round route is about 48 points, 30 weighted routes or more is 100.
