Prosperous Intelligence là gì?
An independent data platform covering citizenship, residency and global wealth. Scored indices use a 0–100 scale; Opportunity Map is a programme explorer without composite scores. Sources and historical snapshot dates are disclosed.
Where does the passport data come from, and is it accurate?
Entry conditions for 198 passports × 248 destinations are cross-checked against destination-government portals. Sources checked 2026-09-29; dataset released 2026-09-29. Verify with the official authority before travelling.
How is "passport strength" calculated?
Strength = the destinations you can enter without a consular visa in advance: visa-free + visa on arrival (VOA) + eTA. We exclude e-Visa because it remains an application that can be refused.
What is the difference between citizenship by investment (CBI) and residency by investment (RBI)?
CBI grants citizenship (a passport) to qualifying investors, usually in 6–18 months. RBI grants the right to reside; citizenship is a longer road, several years later. See our article to choose by objective.
Does the platform cost anything to use?
Every index and tool is currently open and free. We have no paywall.
How many indices does the platform have, and are they all live?
All 13 tools are open: 12 scored indices and Opportunity Map, a programme explorer without composite scores. Cost of Living offers both affordability and real purchasing power.
Which passport is the world's strongest right now?

How many countries can the Vietnamese passport enter without a visa?

Which countries have no personal income tax?
The 0% personal income tax group includes the Gulf (UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman), Monaco, and several island jurisdictions (Bahamas, Cayman, Bermuda, Brunei, Vanuatu). Note that "no income tax" does not mean no cost — see the Tax Freedom Index.
How does residence-based taxation differ from citizenship-based taxation?
Most countries tax on residence: you pay where you live. A few — the United States most notably — tax on citizenship, so citizens must file on worldwide income wherever they live. This is a decisive factor when choosing a second citizenship or residency.
How is the Global Citizenship Score calculated?
It is a weighted composite of 8 indices: passport (18%), quality of life (16%), safety (14%), healthcare (12%), purchasing power (12%), education (10%), wealth protection (10%), tax freedom (8%). A country needs data for at least 60% of the weight; the weight is reallocated across the pillars that are present.
Does Prosperous Intelligence advise on migration services?
No. We are a neutral data platform — we do not sell cases, take programme commissions, or rank by sponsor. Use the data to judge for yourself, or take it to an adviser of your choosing.
Is what I send kept confidential?
Yes. What you send is used only to reply to you and is never sold to third parties. See the Privacy Policy.
Where does the index data come from?
Many indices pull straight from international open sources (World Bank, UNODC and others), named on each page and in the Methodology table. Some are datasets we compile ourselves from public sources (marked "v0") and will keep expanding and verifying.
Why do some indices say "proxy"?
Where a full multi-factor index does not exist yet, we use the closest public indicator as a stand-in (life expectancy as a proxy for healthcare, for example). We label it "proxy" so you know it is a first version (v0) that will be upgraded.
How often is the data updated?
Each index carries a version and data year. Indices drawn from open sources follow the publication cycle of those sources; composites are reviewed periodically before the version is raised.
Should I base a decision entirely on the ranking?
No. This is reference data for research, not legal, tax or investment advice. Use it to narrow the field, then verify with the official authority and a professional before deciding.
Which citizenship by investment (CBI) programme is fastest?
No single programme is always the fastest: the timeline depends on the file, on due diligence and on the rules in force when it is submitted. Caribbean programmes differ in structure, capital level and presence requirements; check each programme's official portal before comparing.
Which country should you retire to?
It depends on your goal, but balance four things: cost of living, healthcare, safety and the retirement visa. Popular destinations include Portugal and Spain in Europe, Malaysia and Thailand in lower-cost Asia, and Mexico and Panama with their pensionado visas. What is Migration ROI?
Migration ROI is an index of passport access efficiency: freely accessible destinations divided by minimum capital (USD million) times the estimated years to citizenship. The result is log-normalised to 0–100; it is not a financial return and it does not measure tax, healthcare or education.
